01/21/2002 Computerised slow to stop
I have a temporary proof of concept Visual Basic program that automatically runs two trains around on the bit of the layout that has track laid...

The station has two s88 input sensors. When the train gets to the first, its speed is set to a slower speed but not low enough for it to stop. When the train get to the second sensor, the train is stopped.

At present the program only deals in raw speed steps - my final program will work in calibrated prototypical speeds .

This shows a Delta chip equipped S-Bahn train coming to a stop in what will be the S-Bahn station
